The scheme consisted of a number of phases with the renovation of a Victorian Gothic school forming the core to phase one. The additional phases were all new build construction consisting of load-bearing masonry, precast floors with timber truss rafter roofs. The foundation design for the new buildings is a mixture of traditional strip footings and precast piles with precast ground beams.
The site-wide infrastructure was also designed including foul, surface water drainage and all access roads across the site.
